LANDSCAPING FOCUS OF
OSHKOSH, Wisconsin (Feb 7, 2011) – Sometimes improving a home’s value and enjoyment can be as simple as choosing the right plants and landscape features. But what plants and features are right for you?
To help with these decisions, CitizensFirst will host “Planting For More Home Value” at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8 at the Highway 44 branch, 2900 Universal St., Oshkosh. Those interested in attending the hour-long session can register online at www.citizensfirst.com, but the event is open to the public and walk-ins are welcome.
The evening will cover large and small landscape designs, do-it-yourself projects, and hiring a professional. Guiding the discussion of design will be landscape specialist Larry Margeleski of Stuart’s Landscaping Company. Cindy Glatz of Heavy Critters will talk about yard enhancements such as concrete statuary and lawn ornaments.
“Our presenters will help identify what’s appropriate for our climate and what kinds of ornamental features will work in your circumstances,” said Marcus Butts, community partnership coordinator at CitizensFirst. “Homeowners will go away with an idea on how to get started with their plan, and whether they can do it themselves or if a professional is needed.”
This program is part of an ongoing educational series and reflects the commitment at CitizensFirst to providing consumers with the resources they need to make sound financial decisions. Programs covering a variety of financial and home-related topics take place every second Tuesday of the month. To learn more, please visit www.citizensfirst.com.
