Do you know how to advocate for your child’s health care needs?  Did you ever say, “I wish I would have had that information for my child when I needed it!”  If you answered, “Yes,” take a crash course with us!  The Northeastern Regional Center for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN), and Family Voices of Wisconsin will host a FREE “Did You Know?  Now You Know!” training on health care coverage and community supports for children and youth with special needs and disabilities on Wednesday, February 4^th & 11^th from 8:30am – 2:30pm in Manitowoc, WI.  Come and meet other families and professionals to learn about health care and community resources and support.  To register, contact Crystal Heeg at 877-568-5205 or 920-969-5328 or email cheeg@chw.org.

Verizon Wireless is offering a hands-on PDA workshop at their Oshkosh location. The workshop is designed to better acquaint PDA users with their mobile devices. The class takes place on Wednesday, February 11 at 6:30 p.m. at 550 S. Koeller St.

The purpose:  To get the most out of your PDA by learning about its functions and features

Who can attend: The event is open to all PDA users (all brands/models welcome).  Readers who do not yet have a PDA but would like to learn more about these devices are welcome to attend the class.

- Classes are free (coffee and pastries are served)
- Attendees are broken down into groups according to the type of PDA each person owns.
- Sessions are led by Verizon Wireless employees
