DESCRIPTION: Join us for the BIGGEST event for the smallest science! Teach your child about nanotechnology with our hands-on experiments, ferro fluids, bucky balls, kid-friendly nano videos and special displays, and much more! Also have fun creating spring-themed paper crafts.

Adoor Gopalakrishnan, India’s most acclaimed contemporary filmmaker, will be on hand to discuss his 2002 film, “Shadow Kill.” Set in pre-independent India, the film revolves around an aged hangman and the customs that have developed around his deadly trade. Troubled by thoughts of the many men he has executed, he prays to the goddess Kali to take his sins away while the local villagers feed off the power he invokes. Gopalakrishnan is a five-time winner of the Indian National Award for best director and two of his films, “Kathapurushan” and “Swayamwaram” received the Golden Lotus, the Indian National Best Film Award.
