Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, the smash-hit Broadway musical, is coming to the Fox Cities! Based on the Academy® Award-winning animated feature film, this eye-popping spectacle has won the hearts of more than 35 million people worldwide. The classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in a enchantress’ spell. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end, and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. This classic musical love story is filled with unforgettable characters, lavish sets and costumes and dazzling production numbers including “Be Our Guest” and the beloved title song.

DESCRIPTION: Join us for the BIGGEST event for the smallest science! Teach your child about nanotechnology with our hands-on experiments, ferro fluids, bucky balls, kid-friendly nano videos and special displays, and much more! Also have fun creating spring-themed paper crafts.
Printmakers Nicole Hand and Nancy Palmeri demonstrate the printmaking process as they each execute a unique edition of prints. Hand is a member of the art department at Murray State University and Palmeri is on the faculty of the University of Texas at Arlington. The demonstration, which is free and open to the public, continues throughout the day until 4 p.m.
Since 2003, this trio has specialized in Quebec folk music, exploring and performing time-honored melodies from the stomping grounds of Quebec’s musical past. Using fiddle, accordion, harmonica, guitar, bouzouki and a number of other instruments, the trio blend boundless energy with the unmistakable joie de vivre found only in traditional Quebec music. Starting at either 9am at Fond du Lac High School or 8:30 am at the Brown County Fairgrounds, the Walk to Cure Diabetes is a great way to help those suffering from this disease will still having a great time. Either by creating a team or walking as an individual, participating in the Walk to Cure Diabetes is wonderful way to spend your Saturday on May 7. Food, drinks, and entertainment will be provided once the walk in completed. (Brown County- fun walk, Fond du Lac- 2 miles) Please consider adding to this already great cause.
