Julie LaBerge, Pupil Services and Special Education Director from Bonduel Public Schools will speak on how the Bonduel School District has implemented Peer Mediated Instruction in both the Elementary and Middle School.
Peer-Mediated Instruction and Intervention is an alternative classroom arrangement in which students take an instructional role with classmates or other students. Many approaches have been developed in which students work in pairs (dyads) or small cooperative learning groups. Peer-mediated instruction is a widely applied and researched educational intervention in both general and special education settings.
