Our friend, Tracy Wettstein, 49, is currently suffering from End Stage Renal Disease. About 2 ½ years ago an infection attacked her kidneys and permanently damaged them. Since October 2009 Tracy has been on dialysis 3 days a week for 3 ½ hours each cleansing. During this whole time she has been trying to find a kidney donor who could help save her life. Tracy’s blood type is B positive. This is a rather rare blood type and has been problematic in her finding a family or friend donor. She has exhausted all of these avenues and continues to urgently seek someone who could be her donor. Tracy is still working, but it is becoming increasingly more difficult for her. Tracy continues to be positive, but after waiting for more than 2 years, it is becoming more difficult.
If you might be that very special person whose blood type is B+ and would be willing to be tested to see if you could be Tracy’s kidney donor, please contact Peace Lutheran Church at 920 725-0510.
