Children are born to learn! This program will help parents find out how to encourage their child's learning throughout the early years. Topics covered with include how to support your child's development, effective discipline, creating a learning friendly household, and how to avoid some common parenting mistakes. A snack and free childcare is provided.

Welcome to the Oshcars, an awards-show-themed exhibit that celebrates outstanding artifacts from the Oshkosh Public Museum’s collections. More than 100 star-quality artifacts heat up the red carpet as they compete in 20 historically themed categories. Meet VIP artifacts and collection celebrities and listen to their personal interviews about their rise to fame in this clever, Hollywood-esque exhibit. Then, become an Academy member and cast your votes for the prestigious awards, to be announced at a formal awards ceremony in spring 2013.
The exhibition features early students of Harvey Littleton who have carried on his legacy by further developing and sharing glass as a studio art. The group will meet to share their personal experiences about coping with the disease, as well as have the opportunity to learn from educational materials, various guest speakers and social activities. The group will meet the fourth Thursday of every month in the classroom.

Living Well with Diabetes is a six week class lasting 2.5 hours each week. Learn techniques to deal with the symptoms of diabetes, fatigue, pain, hyper/hypoglycemia, stress and emotional problems such as depression, anger, fear and frustration. Other topics include: appropriate exercise, healthy eating, appropriate use of medications, and working more effectively with health care providers. This is for anyone living with diabetes or living with or caring for someone with diabetes. No meeting on Thanksgiving.
