The classic Christmas tale comes alive in a dramatic reading and train ride. Tickets go on sale at the end of July. Get your tickets early as this event has sold out in previous years.

Welcome to the Oshcars, an awards-show-themed exhibit that celebrates outstanding artifacts from the Oshkosh Public Museum’s collections. More than 100 star-quality artifacts heat up the red carpet as they compete in 20 historically themed categories. Meet VIP artifacts and collection celebrities and listen to their personal interviews about their rise to fame in this clever, Hollywood-esque exhibit. Then, become an Academy member and cast your votes for the prestigious awards, to be announced at a formal awards ceremony in spring 2013.

The exhibition features early students of Harvey Littleton who have carried on his legacy by further developing and sharing glass as a studio art. Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 10am-4:30pm Sunday 1-4:30pm Shop hours the same Admission to the museum is free, donations are appreciated and essential to our operations.

Fertile Ground: Art and Agriculture features historic paintings and prints from the Neville's permanent collection, folk art and contemporary artwork by Wisconsin artists.

Fertile Ground: Art and Agriculture is part of the Brown County Federation of History Museums 2012 programs.

The Hmong are an Ancient Culture. The Hmong are Allies. The Hmong are Refugees. The Hmong are Neighbors. Discover the Hmong culture- from their transition to the U.S., to a traditional Hmong house built on Neville grounds- in this exciting exhibit.

The Redbird Holly Craft Fair – the area's largest juried holiday arts and craft extravaganza – will return to De Pere High School for its 32nd year on Saturday, November 24. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. for the annual event that features a wide variety of community and out-of-state vendors selling hand-crafted gifts and novelties.

There will be holiday-themed merchandise, traditional handicrafts and unique artwork displayed at the more than 200 booths that Holly Craft accommodates. There will be high-quality offerings from all types of artisans, woodworkers, jewelry makers and other creative vendors. Seasonal arts and crafts are the highlight, but many non-seasonal items also are sold. Holiday greenery will be available for purchase as well as lunch and light refreshments. The event will run until 3:00 p.m.

Holly Craft is the single fund-raiser sponsored by the De Pere High School Parent Club which helps sponsor academic, social and other extra-curricular activities for students. It's a successful event that has benefited our students, school and community since 1980.

Suggested donation is $2 at the door.

The craft show is staged in the gymnasium and commons area with approximately 60,000 square feet of exhibit space. De Pere High School is located at 1700 Chicago Street.

From November 21- December 31 cars filled with families and friends drive through and visit beautiful Menominee Park in Oshkosh to experience the magic of lighted exhibits, sculptured scenes, and animated lighted displays. Visitors enjoy Santa’s Workshop, reindeer and children’s activities. Visitors receive $2.00 off the normal admission cost by donating a non-perishable food item. Food pantries community-wide scheduled by United Way, benefit from Celebration of Lights; truly another great reason to celebrate 11 years of holiday magic!

Jump and spin into the holiday spirit watching local youth skaters perform to the sounds of the season. See performances from a variety of skill levels, from beginner to the nationally competing Fondy Blades Intermediate Synchronized Skating team. Admission is only a canned food donation!

Come join us this winter at Globe University in Green Bay! The campus has opened its doors to the public for winter hall walking, November 1, 2012 - March 31, 2013. Beat the winter blues and come walk around our second floor loop for exercise. All are welcome. The campus is open Monday - Friday 8:00AM-8:00PM, Friday 8:00AM-4:00PM, and Saturday 9:00AM-2:00PM.

Snowdrop WI will be collecting new toys from 11/5-12/21 that will be delivered to pediatric cancer patients at Childrens Hopsital on Christmas Eve.

Holiday Home Tour 2012.
Don't miss this year's Holiday Home Tour in Beautiful Northern Door County on Thanksgiving weekend (Friday 4-8 and Saturday 10-4). Tour five unique homes festively decorated for the holidays plus a scrumptious Bake Shoppe at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Sister Bay (no ticket required). At each stop there will be a special surprise: Santa himself may greet you at one door, or you may be welcomed by the sound of carolers at another. Ashwaubenon High School presents the musical production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, which opens Saturday, Nov. 24 at 7:00 PM. What a great way to kick off the holiday season with this exciting musical version of Charles Dickens' classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge! Performance dates are Nov. 24, 25, 30, Dec. 1, 2.
