Celebration Academy is offering a weekly story hour for young children – Friday mornings at 9:30 am at the 9th Street Wellness Center, 1028 9th Street, Green Bay, WI 54304. The story hour is free. An optional craft project related to the book is available after reading the story. The craft project fee is $2. Reservations may be made at 490-9699.

Welcome to the Oshcars, an awards-show-themed exhibit that celebrates outstanding artifacts from the Oshkosh Public Museum’s collections. More than 100 star-quality artifacts heat up the red carpet as they compete in 20 historically themed categories. Meet VIP artifacts and collection celebrities and listen to their personal interviews about their rise to fame in this clever, Hollywood-esque exhibit. Then, become an Academy member and cast your votes for the prestigious awards, to be announced at a formal awards ceremony in spring 2013.

The Frame Workshop is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a return visit to Wisconsin by Dipl.-Ing. Karla Steinbach of the respected German nutcracker maker, Steinbach GmbH in November 2012.
Karla, daughter of the late Christian Steinbach makes her fifth visit to Appleton as part of her U.S. tour in 2012.
The name Steinbach is recognized all over the world for the unique design of their wood carved Steinbach Nutcracker masterpieces. Begun many years ago by Herr Christian Steinbach (the King of Steinbach Nutcrackers) the tradition of creating fine, hand-carved Steinbach German Nutcrackers is being continued today by his daughter, Karla Steinbach.
Karla is a 6th generation Steinbach family member to carry on the reigns of this 200 year old tradition of creating beautiful nutcrackers and other turned wooden items and collectibles.
