NORML is dedicated to reforming Cannabis laws in Wisconsin for a safer and brighter future for all our citizens and businesses in our state. Cannabis can be used safely and responsibly by adults, and our laws can be reformed to allow harm reduction and compassion to all users, while at the same time, offering our state a new revenue generating industry. Collected taxes and saved criminal justice costs can get reallocated to new schools, teachers, hospitals, police, and public health, so all of Wisconsin can benefit from a more responsible public policy.
We would love to have you attend a meeting and meet the people that want the Marijuana Prohibition to come to an end. We are not a bunch of pot heads but ordinary people just like you. You want to learn about hemp, pot,medical marijuana ... whatever you want to call it, come to a meeting. Marijuana has not caused one death and is the most useful of all the God given plants on earth. Education is the key. Sixteen states now allow medical marijuana for the patients that can benefit from it without deadly side effects. Come, join us, LEARN.
Meetings are run by veteran Richard Martin Jr. from Northern Wisconsin NORML. Rich is also a member of LEAP, MPP, NRA and IMMLY.
Meetings are open to anyone interested in learning the truth about Marijuana, the benefits of ending the PROHIBITION.

What was Appleton like during the Progressive Era (1850 – 1920)? The turn of the century was a period of speculation and excitement. Americans felt the excitement of world fairs and new technologies entering their daily lives. This new exhibit at the History Museum hinges on Appleton’s evolution from a fledgling manufacturing town to a modern industrial center. Through a collection of 3,000 photographs, amateur photographer W.D. Schlafer captured this rapidly changing environment during the Progressive Era in the Fox Cities. Visitors will see how much Appleton and the Fox Cities evolved as new technologies and ideas changed the lives of area residents during this transformative period.
Where can you play the stock market, run your own lemonade stand, put your face on a million dollar bill, and see samples of currency from pounds to pesos? In Moneyville, that’s where! This exciting new exhibit at the Neville Public Museum will have you seeing money in a whole new way. Ideal for kids grade K-8.

Geology Rocks! incorporates history, art, personal experiences, group activities, regional jobs and Wisconsin’s third largest industry. This exhibit has it all: fossils, gems, jewelry, killer asteroids, volcanoes, earthquakes, minerals, lapidary, crystals, bedrock, mining, collecting, exhibit graphics and hands-on interactives… and, of course, lots of fascinating rocks!

The Fifth Annual Fox Cities Book Festival to be held April 11-18, is a chance to connect readers with noted national, state, and local writers right here in the Fox Cities. Held in a number of venues throughout the Fox Cities, over 75 authors will share their works through readings, writing, workshops, school presentations, and conversations.
