Explore Wisconsin’s long and rich deer hunting tradition with this outdoorsmen’s dream exhibit. Trophy bucks, classic guns and interactive displays give a detailed look at the history and heritage of Wisconsin’s annual rite of autumn. The exhibit tracks various hunting trends and techniques, from prehistoric pursuits to the rise of the bow hunter, and captures the thrill of the hunt as it takes visitors inside the state’s most scared sporting season.
The return of guest artist Byron Stripling on trumpet! An electrifying concert that journeys from early gospel through jazz. Byron Stripling shares a soul stirring jam session combined with the beat of an old time revival.

One of the area's most unique and colorful events, the annual EAA Skiplane Fly-In brings in more than 25 skiplanes to the snow-covered runway at Pioneer Airport, showcasing this unique segment of flight that is quite popular throughout many parts of North America.
Free of charge to the public. Complimentary chili & cake served. Shuttles will operate from Basler Flight Service and Orion Flight Service for those landing at Wittman Airport. Regular admission rates apply for guests visiting the museum itself.
