On October 22nd, 2011 Ellipse Members and Guests will again be kicking and punching for a cause!
It’s our 5th Annual Victory Over Violence Marathon! This is a 4 hour fitness event that directly benefits a local domestic abuse shelter, in our case--Golden House!
“Victory over Violence” started 5 years ago in hopes of bringing together friends of Ellipse and raise a small amount of money for Harbor House, in Appleton. Since then, the franchise has grown, and over $45,000 has been raised for domestic abuse shelters in the areas of Ellipse Fitness studios!
Please visit the Golden House website (www.goldenhousegb.org) to get a feel for what our hard work contributes to!
I feel very fortunate to be involved with a group of members and staff that ENJOY a challenge and who are also committed to raising funds for such an important program in our community! This event allows participants to spend a morning working out for a greater cause than themselves!
I’d like to personally ask you to join me to raise money for Golden House! Our goal at the Allouez location is to raise $3,500 this year. We’re ordering all new music, we’re deep cleaning the space, ordering bagels and fruit and we’re going to make this a PARTY for a cause!
Here are the details!
