Late Nite Catechism has brought its nostalgic kick to every state in the US as well as to Canada, the UK and Australia, and now it’s coming to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. Late Nite Catechism is a wildly funny play that takes the audience back to their youth bringing the Catholic school atmosphere into a setting everyone can enjoy.

The New York Times calls it “uproarious interactive theater.” With Sister’s witty lessons, you can’t help but laugh! Even the most reluctant “students” will be clamoring to get into this class! According to Talking Broadway, “You don’t have to be Catholic to enjoy Late Nite Catechism.” So grab your friends and take them for a night out they won’t soon forget!

Welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Grab your Platform 9 ¾ ticket and leave the Muggle world behind to celebrate the release of the final Harry Potter film. This bewitching event transforms the Oshkosh Public Museum into Hogwarts, where you can attend a sorting hat ceremony, make your own wand and quill, predict the future in Divination, meet characters from the stories and solve magical messages. Mischief managed? Take some time to check out props and replicas from the Harry Potter movies and stop in Honeydukes Sweet Shop to load up on goodies. Wrap up the month with our magical birthday bash for Harry on Sunday, July 31. Accio fun!

Touch the Wonders of Mulberry Lane Petting Farm (MLF). At MLF you not only see but interact with all of the farm animals. During your hands-on guided tour you can milk a cow, catch a chicken, kiss a pig, cuddle a kitten, ride a pony, enjoy a hayride & more!

You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at the farm.

Tours begin continuously between 10-1 Wed/Thurs/Fri and 10-2 Sat/Sun. Farm closes 2 hours after departure of last tour.

Senior Citizen Open House at The Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center on Thursday, July 21 from 8 a.m. until noon. Seniors will be able to tour the facility, including the aquatics center, fitness center, walking track, dance studio, art room and state-of-the-art auditorium. There will also be a senior fair for agencies & services geared toward seniors. Membership sign-up will be available. Center is located at

WDPHS “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”

DE PERE, Wis. July 13, 2011 – This summer, West De Pere High School brings laughter, competition, and the awkwardness of adolescence to the stage in the hilarious yet heartwarming musical comedy “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” Nominated for six Tony awards (and winner of two), the show follows the successes and failures of six bee contestants as they struggle not only with the competition, but also with discovering their own identities. With songs including “Magic Foot,” “I’m Not That Smart,” “My Friend, the Dictionary,” “Spelling Bee” will bring you buzzing back to grade school in a frenzy of vowels, consonants and heartwarming hilarity.

Cast includes: Haley Berger, Kim Brunette, Megan Dowd, Carly Gillis, Zach Hibbard, Amber Jagodzinski, Jamie Kondro, Carina Lasee, Katherine Lasee, Kelsey Norton, Michael O’Malley, Meghan Radka, and Wil Rowe.

Tickets are $5 and sold at door prior to show. WDPSD Staff and Students receive free admission (Students need ID).
