Heritage Hill State Historical Park invites the public to a fun, family event celebrating Belgian, Polish, German and Native American people on Saturday, September 10th from 10:00am to 4:30pm. Activities include dancing, pottery making demonstrations, a logging exhibit, historic games, rope making wood working and crafts. Plus numberous food demonstrations: corn soup, beer making, cheese making, cider press, butter and sauerkraut making! Cost: $9/adults, $8/seniors, $7/children 5-17, and ages 4 and under are free.

The 5th Annual "A Ride to Remember" is a community event that begins in the heart of Downtown Green Bay on 9-10-11 at 11:00 with a community tribute to the lives touched by September 11th at the Neville Public Museum. At 11:30 a motorcycle ride will leave for an afternoon of reflection. At 4:00 the motorcycles will return to Washington Street in Green Bay, between St Brendan's Inn and Fox Harbor for a BLOCK PARTY. Eddie Haskel will perform with special guest red clover. The post event is free and open to the public.

See a small exhibit on what, where and how bulk raw materials are delivered to, and removed from, Green Bay and the economic impact it has on our local economy.

Raising money to send care packages to the 395th that is now stationed in Afghanistan. Raffles, 50/50's, music, food, drinks. All proceeds go to making/sending care packages. $20 per person, kids 13-under $10. If you would like to bring items to put in the care packages that would be great. Items can be magazines, movies, personal hygene items, non-perishable food, paper, pens etc.
Book sale will be held in the parking lot of the Lena Public Library. Take Highway 141 to the Lena (County Road A) exit. Proceed west about two blocks, library will be on your right just past the Lena Public School.
This book sale will be held during Lena Dairyfest. There is a parade on Main Street at 10:00 am, so book seekers will want to come early to get good parking.
Books have not been picked over. There will be around 1,000 books to choose from as well as some VHS tapes and maybe other items. Book prices will range from $0.25-$1.50. No credit cards, please. Sale contains many books in like-new condition. There will also be games to play and cookies and milk will be sold. Hope to see you here!

Company E of the 2nd Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry will be camped on the banks of the Fox River in the front of the Neville Public Museum. Find out how soldiers lived, fought and died during the Civil War. Hear the stories of Wisconsin soldiers in Badger Boys: Northeast Wisconsin and the Civil War. Talk to a surgeon about wounds and healing during the war. Play with games and toys from the 1860s. Join a role playing game as a soldier, nurse or spy ($5 per player).
