Join us for Kirtan- call-and-response chanting, involving a combination of sound, vibration, melody, harmony, and Sanskrit mantras. A student of David Newman (Durga Das) Dennis Hawk will lead attendees in a Kirtan that will calm the mind and open the heart.

Book sale will be held in the parking lot of the Lena Public Library. Take Highway 141 to the Lena (County Road A) exit. Proceed west about two blocks, library will be on your right just past the Lena Public School.
This book sale will be held during Lena Dairyfest. There is a parade on Main Street at 10:00 am, so book seekers will want to come early to get good parking.
Books have not been picked over. There will be around 1,000 books to choose from as well as some VHS tapes and maybe other items. Book prices will range from $0.25-$1.50. No credit cards, please. Sale contains many books in like-new condition. There will also be games to play and cookies and milk will be sold. Hope to see you here!

Company E of the 2nd Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry will be camped on the banks of the Fox River in the front of the Neville Public Museum. Find out how soldiers lived, fought and died during the Civil War. Hear the stories of Wisconsin soldiers in Badger Boys: Northeast Wisconsin and the Civil War. Talk to a surgeon about wounds and healing during the war. Play with games and toys from the 1860s. Join a role playing game as a soldier, nurse or spy ($5 per player).

Join the N.E.W Men's Senior Baseball League has it begins its playoff season!! Game 1 will pit the East River Knights versus the Appleton Foxes, and Game 2 will be a battle between the Kewaunee Eagles and the Appleton Cubs. First pitch of the day will be at 12 noon.
