We have many traditional Swedish events during the year. Guests and new members are always welcome.
The Green Bay Chapter of the Eagles Club (FOE) a local non-profit, 501(c)(3), fraternal organization will be holding an all-you-can-eat liver fry fundraiser every Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.Menu will include liver, onions, gravy, mashed potatoes, and homemade bread.Cost is $6.00 per person.Desserts available for purchase at the Auxiliary bake sale.All proceeds benefit the Eagles Club and its many charities.One block east of North Webster Ave via North Clay Street.Public is welcome.
Pudgy Pets is a unique pet weight loss program that combines weekly meetings, veterinary guidance and nutritional counseling, the support of veterinary staff and other pet owners along with a fun exercise activity. Pet participants are required to have a physical exam prior to starting the program to take baseline measurements and ensure they have no health risks which may affect participation. This Pre-Registration based shake it up class is designed to help you better understand the movements that create the structure of belly dance and the history of this ancient dance through story telling. Teaching techniques are through isolations and muscular training.We will focus on movement break downs so that you begin with the correct techniques to perform any of the common moves, such as upper body undulations , chest circles, hip circles, drops & shimmies'. This all adds up to a great workout, however the goal of the class is proper technique and to prepare you for the next level of belly dance.
Class attire is fitted comfortable clothes. No skirts so as instructor can see the knees and lower back position.
Example: Full fitted or half coverage top (as to see tummy) Yoga pant, Stretchy pant, or shorts with or without hip scarf or coin belt and bare feet. Hip scarves are available to purchase.

This class is ideal in your 1st year of learning, however you can stay in this level until all the fundamental movements are comfortable to you. You will always come away with something new from week-to-week, session-to-session, year-to-year. No prior dance experience is necessary for this class.
A Tuesday night farm and craft market will be held at Martin Park, 207 S. 3rd Avenue (at the corner of S. 3rd Avenue and Oregon Street). The market will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. begining June 21st and running through September 27th.
There is a large assortment of locally grown produce to choose from each week as well as tasty foods and baked goods. There are also hand crafted items to browse through - you may just find that special gift you have been looking for.
