Children are born to learn! This program will help parents find out how to encourage their child's learning throughout the early years. Topics covered with include how to support your child's development, effective discipline, creating a learning friendly household, and how to avoid some common parenting mistakes. A snack and free childcare is provided.

The Surise Optimist Club meets every Thursday morning 7:30 at the Harmony Cafe at 1660 West Mason Street Green Bay. Our goal is to help the kids at Jefferson Middle School. Join us for Breakfast and decide if you would like to join our club. Questions contact John at 920-360-5711.

Financial Peace University is a 13-week, life-changing program that empowers and teaches you how to make the right money decisions to achieve your financial goals. The course includes practical lessons on the debt snowball plan for eliminating debt, building wealth, and cash flow (budget) planning and much, much more! It will be held for 13 weeks on Tuesdays at 6:30 starting September 13. The cost is $95 for materials. Call the church office at 468-4065 to register.

Through GriefShare, you will find encouragement, comfort and help in grieving the death of a loved one. At each session, there will be a DVD, followed by a small group discussion. You will learn valuable information about facing your new normal in life and renewing your hope for the future. Grief- related books/materials are available for participants to borrow. GriefShare will be held on Thursdays for 13 weeks beginning on September 15^th at 1:00pm. Please register by September 12^th by calling the church office at 468-4065. The cost is a $20 free-will donation to cover the cost of participant materials.

This year marks the 30th Anniversary of Green Bay’s own downtown arts festival: Artstreet. Beginning August 20, just one week before the 2011 Artstreet festival, the Neville is offering an exhibit looking back at 30 fun-filled years of artistic energy.

See a small exhibit on what, where and how bulk raw materials are delivered to, and removed from, Green Bay and the economic impact it has on our local economy.
